Terms and Conditions & Other Compliance Information

Terms of Membership

Membership in the Michigan Cannabis Market Reform Coalition (the "Coalition") is subject to the following terms and conditions. By becoming a member, you agree to abide by these terms and any future amendments.

1. Membership Dues:

Initial engagement requires a contribution of $2000 per entity for the first six months, payable as a lump sum upfront or in six monthly installments of $400. This is framed as an initiation payment to support the Coalition's immediate advocacy efforts.

Future membership costs will be reviewed and revised every six months based on the Coalition's operational needs and the total number of active members. Members will be notified of any changes in dues at least 30 days prior to the start of a new six-month period.

2. Purpose of Funds:

All membership contributions are non-refundable and will be used exclusively to fund the Coalition's advocacy initiatives, including but not limited to policy research, lobbying efforts, public education campaigns, and operational expenses necessary to achieve our stated goals of market reform, fair regulation, consumer safety, and industry stability within Michigan's cannabis sector.

3. Member Conduct:

Members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner, aligning with the Coalition's mission and values. Any conduct deemed detrimental to the Coalition's reputation or objectives may result in termination of membership without refund.

4. Disclaimer:

The Coalition is an advocacy organization and does not provide legal, financial, or business advice. Participation in the Coalition does not guarantee specific policy outcomes or financial returns. Members are encouraged to seek independent professional advice for their individual business needs.

5. Privacy Policy:

The Coalition is committed to protecting your privacy. Member information collected will be used solely for the purposes of managing your membership, communicating Coalition updates, and facilitating advocacy efforts. We will not sell or share your personal information with third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

6. Governing Law:

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
